Cultural Immersion

Grades 5-7     |     Week 10 (Aug. 6-Aug. 10)


Campers will explore American history and Northern Cheyenne Native American culture in an exciting, hands-on cultural immersion camp, side-by-side with Chinese students from Guangdong Province, China. Skilled educators from The Lippman School and from Chief Dull Knife College on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation in Montana will facilitate learning in the morning. Afternoon recreational activities will include swimming and exploring at the Shaw JCC’s 65-acre campus as well as hiking in Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
