At the Lisa & Thom Mandel Early Child Education Center, we offer exciting early childhood enrichment classes for our students and all children in the area! Classes and times change throughout the year to offer the best programming for your little one. Kids in the Kitchen with Ms. Kim


Ages 2½-5 years

Children will join Ms. Kim to create kid-friendly, easy to replicate recipes using a variety of kitchen appliances and tools. Children will mix, blend, chop, grate and pour ingredients to create their own culinary masterpieces. A recipe page will be created each week for a take home recipe book at the end of the program.

Paint Play


Ages 2½-5 years

Our own resident art specialist Ms. Mellissa will meet with children weekly to learn creative painting techniques as well as color mixing and to use basic shapes. Children will be painting with their fingers, objects, fruit and more!

Spanish for Little Ones


Ages 2½-5 years 

Children will join Senorita Mc Duffee for a weekly Spanish experience. Similar to the last session of Spanish for Little Ones. Songs, stories, arts and crafts and more will be provided for children using basic Spanish words and phrases.

Music with Mr. Jeff


Ages 2 ½-5 years
Children will join our musical “mad man” Mr. Jeff for an intro to do-re-mi complete with sing-a-longs, beats and rhythms, children’s Jewish songs and some silly song writing too!

Mighty Kicks


Ages 3-5 years

Enthusiastic and experienced Mighty Kicks instructors will teach basic soccer skills by using
age-appropriate games, drills, and exercises. The sessions are healthy, educational and FUN! The team atmosphere builds socialization and life skills at an important developmental age. Programs introduce the positive character strengths that are proven to have a direct impact on achievement and success in sports, school and life. The quality instructors, innovative curriculum (teaching soccer skills and building character) will leave a lasting impression on your children.



Ages 2 ½-5 years
Children will join our own LEGO Master Mr. Rocco Galizio to play, explore and create LEGO masterpieces. Children will be given opportunities to duplicate LEGO creations that are pictured in supplied photos to help build creative problem-solving skills.

Messy Art


Ages 3-5 years 
Together with Ms. Lindsay, children will have the opportunity to create various types or art work while getting messy at the same time. Each class will incorporate a story, art medium and a mess!

Summer Literacy & Reading Challenge


Ages 3-5 years
Ms. Lindsay will use this class as an extension of her literacy instruction that she teaches in her pre-K class throughout the school year. We will be reading, working on site words, practicing letter and sound recognition, and keeping journals. There will be a reading challenge for students to complete with their families to encourage children to gain a life-long love of reading and books.

STEM School


Ages 3-5 years
Children will be immersed in the world of science, technology, engineering and math in this exciting summer class! Students will do science experiments, create structures using a variety of materials, explore simple machines, and play math games. Join Ms. Lindsay for a class full of learning based around the jobs of the future!

Kindness Counts Summer Mitzvah Projects


Ages 3-5 years 
Students will have the opportunity to learn about kindness, empathy and giving back to the community with Ms. Lindsay. We will be working with several local organizations to make things, donate time/goods, and learn about children and parents in our community that may need support. After completing our projects for these organizations over the summer, we will take a trip during the last week of class to tour and meet people from a local charitable organization.
