Dear Members, 

The gymnasium at the Shaw JCC of Akron will be closed July 10-28 for floor refinishing and to allow for adequate dry and cure times. We anticipate reopening the gymnasium on Saturday, July 29 and will send out a notification text to our members once the refinishing is complete. Simply text @shawjcc to 81010 to opt into the notification service. If you need assistance, please email aatwood@shawjcc.org.

Other areas of the facility will remain open including the fitness center, group exercise classes, indoor/outdoor pools and outdoor basketball courts. Men’s Basketball League will return to play on Sunday, July 30.

Fitness classes usually held in the gymnasium have been relocated to other rooms in the building. Please inquire at the desk or look for signs.
