Monday, Sept. 29 will mark the 20th Golf outing anniversary for the Shaw JCC.  The inaugural event, held at Rosemont Country Club,  featured Cleveland Cavaliers’ 2nd all-time leading scorer, Austin Carr, as a participant & speaker.  Cathy Baer & Jay Glauberman co-chaired.  The team event winners that year were Morrie & Myrna Berzon, and Stan & Esther Bober.

 

Over the two decades, this important fundraiser has been held at some of the area’s finest country clubs: Rosemont; Fairlawn; Glenmoor; Portage.  Past Chairpersons include Cindy Nelson, Jerry Nelson, Greg McMains, Brian Sleznick, Mark Gersman, Mark Goldfarb, Bob Littman and Andrea Minister 

 

This year, for the first time, the event will take place at Silver Lake Country Club.  Mark Baer and Ted Walter are co-chair, and Stephanie Davis- Dieringer serves as the staff liaison.
