The Barbara Pollock Scholarship Award

 

The Barbara Pollock Scholarship Award is a four-year award ($1,000 a year for each of the four years of college) and has been established to recognize local Jewish high school students who have excelled in the classroom. All students who meet the prescribed criteria will be eligible. The following criteria have been established by the committee:

 

  • Candidates must reside in the Summit County, Kent, and/or Medina area.
  • Candidates must be identified as Jews.
  • Candidates must demonstrate community involvement.
  • Candidates must have achieved a 3.0 GPA after seven semesters in high school.
  • Candidates must maintain a 3.0 GPA in college to receive award.
