Outdoor Pool Opens this Saturday!

Saturday, May 27 | 11 a.m. - 7:45 p.m.

The Shaw JCC’s outdoor pool is the perfect place for family summer fun and opens for the summer Memorial Day weekend, Saturday, May 27, 11 a.m.-7:45 p.m. Here's what you need to know before you head to the pool!

Outdoor Pool Hours
Open swim is Monday-Friday and Sunday, 11 a.m.-7:45 p.m. Starting June 4, every Saturday we will open the pool an hour earlier at 10 a.m. Lap swim is Sunday-Friday, 10 a.m.-noon, for adults in the lap swim area of the pool.

Inclement Weather
In case of thunder or lightning, swimmers may be asked to exit the indoor and outdoor pool areas for at least a half hour. Please call 330-867-7850 to inquire if the pools are open in case of inclement weather.

Memorial Day Hours
On Monday, May 29, the building will be open 8 a.m.-1 p.m., however, there are no group exercise classes or babysitting services. The outdoor pool is open 11 a.m.-7:45 p.m.

Member Badges
Please remember to bring your member badge every time you visit our facility and swipe in at the desk or the pool gate. You will also need your member badge to enter the building from the outdoor pool. If a family member or babysitter is bringing your child to the outdoor pool, please remember to stop by the desk to pick up a babysitting card.

Guest Passes
Guest pass fees are $10 for adults (18+); $7 for teens (ages 13-17); $5 for children (ages 5-12); and free for children ages 4 and under. Guest passes for the outdoor pool may be purchased inside at the member service desks and in advance for Saturday visits.

Shabbat Cards
Jewish law and tradition embrace the Sabbath—Saturday, a day of rest, when no work is done and no money changes hands. To respect that tradition, we do not sell goods or services at the Shaw JCC on Saturdays. Please remember to buy guest passes ahead of time and, in the summer, Shabbat cards ($10) for the snack bar. We cannot charge member accounts for guest passes or Shabbat cards.

Kosher Food Policy
We ask members to please be respectful of the laws of kashrut for those who keep kosher. Members are welcome to bring any food except meat and poultry.

Efrat’s Café
Open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. daily, Efrat’s Café will return this summer with all your favorite menu items like chips, cold drinks, pizza, tuna wraps, and more! New tasty food items are in store for our members and guests. Please remember to purchase your Shabbat card for the snack bar in advance if you're planning to head to the pool on Saturday!
