Camp JCC

Make it your best summer yet! Register for Camp JCC, June 5-Aug. 18

Your child will enjoy the best that summer has to offer with swimming, sports, culture, dance and drama, music, arts and crafts and so much more! Whatever your child's interest, we have the right camp for him/her. Mix and match camp programs – sign up for as many different camps and as many weeks as you wish! Tiny Toes Jazz/Hip Hop & Ballet Classes start Feb. 3 & 6

The Mandel Early Childhood Education Center is introducing fun and enjoyable dance classes for boys and girls, ages 2 1/2 to 5 years, that inspire confidence and creativity in an encouraging and imaginative environment. Jazz/Hip Hop runs Fridays, Feb. 3-April 21 and Ballet will be held Mondays, Feb. 6-April 24. Shlichim Programs: Feb. 7 & 28

On Feb. 7, travel with Shay to Central Israel through a multi-media presentation. On Feb. 28, join him for a screening of Sabena Hijacking, a 90-minute reenactment docu-drama of the hijacking of Sabena flight in 1972. American Red Cross Swim lessons dive in Feb. 13

American Red Cross swim lessons run Feb. 13-March 8 for all ages and levels of experience. Classes require a minimum of three participants, so please register in advance. Call 330-867-7850 or stop by the desk. Learn more.

 

FREE Health Screening Tune-up offered Feb. 14

The Shaw JCC in collaboration with the Summit Home Health Service division of Menorah Park will offer a free health screening tune-up for Summit County residents on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 10:30 a.m.-noon. Complimentary blood pressure checks, balance checks as well as respiratory health screens will be provided. Please RSVP by Feb. 10 to Rachel Williams.

School's Out Feb. 20 & Trip to Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage

At our School's Out program, your child’s day, 7 a.m.-6 p.m., will be filled with fun activities at the gym and indoor pool. Basketball Shooting Clinic Feb. 20

The National Basketball Academy is back Feb. 20 with a three-hour shooting clinic for ages 8-13. The clinic will start off with a video review of the players' shots. Our staff will break it down so the players know what is right and what they need to correct. More information

Fitness Bingo is here! 

Challenge yourself in the month of February with Fitness Bingo! Each time you visit the fitness center, indoor pool or group exercise class, you'll draw a number (up to 4 times in one week) to get to Bingo and great prizes. Get your Bingo card at the fitness center.

Please remember to bring your member ID card with you each time you visit the J. Also, the facility closes promptly at 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. All members and guests must leave the building at this time. Staff will make announcements starting a half-hour prior to closing time. Thank you!
